Postmark
Connect a Postmark account to Kurrier for transactional email delivery.
Postmark
Kurrier can send mail through Postmark's API. You retain control of your Postmark account, servers, sender signatures, limits, and billing.
Before you begin
You need:
- A Postmark account
- A Postmark server for Kurrier mail
- A verified sender signature or domain
- Workspace owner or administrator access in Kurrier
Find the required tokens
Kurrier may request two Postmark credentials:
| Credential | Where to find it | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Server token | Servers → your server → API Tokens | Sends mail through the selected Postmark server |
| Account token | Account → API Tokens | Allows supported account-level setup and verification operations |
Create dedicated tokens where practical so they can be rotated without affecting unrelated integrations.
Add Postmark to Kurrier
- Sign in to the Postmark dashboard and copy the required tokens.
- In Kurrier, open Settings → Providers.
- Select Add Provider → Postmark.
- Enter the server token and account token requested by Kurrier.
- Save the provider and select Verify Connection.
Kurrier displays a verified status after it successfully authenticates with Postmark.
Postmark tokens provide access to your account or sending server. Keep them out of source control, screenshots, and support requests.
Add a domain or sender
After the provider is connected:
- Open Identities in Kurrier.
- Add the domain or email identity you want to use.
- Complete any DNS or sender-verification steps shown by Kurrier and Postmark.
- Send a test message after verification succeeds.
Postmark will reject a From address that is not covered by a verified sender signature or domain.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Connection verification fails | Confirm that the tokens are active, copied completely, and belong to the intended Postmark account and server. |
| Authentication error | Make sure the server token and account token were entered in their corresponding fields. |
| Sender is rejected | Verify the sender signature or domain in Postmark. |
| Message is not delivered | Review the message activity and suppression information in Postmark. |
| Account is awaiting approval | Complete any account review or sending-approval steps requested by Postmark. |
For a provider-side rejection, include Postmark's message or activity ID when contacting support, but never include either token.
